Talk about a tight deadline!
A Kansas City client who is a regional director of revenue management needed my help in a pinch this week. The management company she works for uses Readers and Insight for 30 national accounts and this client needed help with a big presentation she was working on about us. Her request equated to about five days worth of work, but she needed it done in less than 24 hours. Gulp!
The client needed my help setting up the management company account. She had to include the comp sets of all their hotels along with historical data. She also required one main report with all the data on it for the presentation.
Instead of telling her it couldn’t be done, I immediately got to work. I worked on it all day and took the project home with me and continued on it until I finished up at 10 p.m. Whew!
My extra work was well worth it because our client was extremely appreciative of the time and energy I spent getting the project completed. I felt good knowing I was able to help a client in a bind.
