For the week of March 20-26, 2022, there was a 32.6% increase in event activity from the prior week. Growth is significantly stronger than prior weeks due to rebound from spring break week in the southeast.
Additionally, the average number of attendees for the week was 76 people while the average square footage used was 1,700 per event.
The corporate market segment represented 59.9% of overall business for the week. SMERF-Education, Healthcare, National Association, Technology, and Training/Education were the top industry segments
The individual markets with the highest week over week growth were Atlanta, Minneapolis, Phoenix, Boston, and Austin. The average growth for these markets was 102.2% week over week.
