Event activity still impacted by Memorial Day Holiday
The U.S. market is still experiencing native seasonality trends from last week’s Memorial Day Weekend, decreasing 18.3% compared to the prior week. We should see a rebound in growth in the next few weeks as we move further away from the holiday.
The average number of attendees for the week was 84 people, while the average square footage used was 1,848 per event.
The corporate market segment represented 53.1% of overall business for the week. National Association, Education, HealthCare, Technology, and Travel were the top industry segments
Markets with the highest week over week growth were Colorado Springs, Chicago, Georgia North, Detroit, and Greensboro-Winston Salem. The arowth for these markets was 250.7% week over week.
